Shark Skwal Helmets
Shark Skwal Helmet
The Shark Skwal helmet has been designed from the ground up, taking learnings from the best of Shark's full face helmet range and introducing some new features never seen before on a Shark lid. The most innovative new development is the integration of green/yellow LEDs, located by the top & chin air vents, plus rear spoilers, providing visibility at night to oncoming drivers and those behind you. You can even set them to flash, further arresting the attention of other road users. They're powered by a built-in battery, charged by USB and lasts 5 hours, or 8 hours when set to the flash setting. Check out the video at the bottom of the page to see a 360º view of the Instinct version of the Shark Skwal. As well as this and the plain colours, the Skwal is also available as the Trion, Flynn, Trooper, Cargo, Matador, Spinax, Sticking and Ellipse. New for 2017 is the Jorge Lorenzo special edition.
The Shark Skwal has a new visor with Shark's Autoseal mechanism. The new mechanism provides a hermatic seal with the rubber visor seal, which keeps both sound and water out. The clear visor accommodates a Pinlock insert, so it won't fog, even when it's cold and wet. The Shark Skwal also has an internal, retractable sun visor, to help you deal with sun glare, especially helpful when the sun is low in the sky. The Shark Skwal helmet weighs 1470g, which is a very decent figure, especially given the integrated sun visor and LEDs. It's prepared for Sharktooth, Shark's wireless intercom system, plus it features Easyfit, making it possible for you to comfortably wear glasses with this helmet. Prices for the Shark Skwal start at £189.99, with free UK delivery, plus we offer worldwide shipping with excellent value shipping rates to the USA and Canada, Denmark, Netherlands, France, Italy and beyond.

Shark Skwal Review
We'll be adding a Shark Skwal review soon, but judging by the existing Shark helmets we sell, we expect it to be worth your consideration if you're in the market for a quality, mid-priced motorcycle helmet. Shark consistently produce 4 and 5 star helmets on the government's SHARP rating system, which as regular riders ourselves, gives us huge confidence to put our faith in them as a helmet brand. Each year, we've watched Shark improve their range and quality of helmets, to the point where they're now one of the leading companies to watch for technological innovations. The Shark Skwal is another example. We've been impressed with their recent developments in the naked/street category, such as the Raw and Vancore, but it's also reassuring to see Shark continue their commitment to safety. The Skwal is the first motorcycle helmet to feature integrated LEDs, which gives you another chance of being seen at night, when you're most vulnerable. If you're interested in seeing more innovations in improving visibility whilst out on the road, check out the Macna Night Eye clothing range, who are the leaders in developing high visibility clothing without relying on the old fashioned hi viz vest.
