Richa Textile Jackets 2017

New for 2017 are the Richa Scrambler, Navara and Bonneville textile jackets.

Richa Motorcycle Jackets

The Richa jackets range includes both textiles and leathers, which we've grouped into two separate pages, for ease of browsing. This is the RIcha textile jacket collection, if you're looking for leathers, use either the main menu or the breadcrumb above. Richa's credentials in motorcycle jackets goes all the way back to 1956, when they began manufacturing motorcycle clothing in Belgium. They're still based in Oudenaarde, Belgium but things have moved on remarkably since their inception back in the 50s. Richa's clothing range took a huge leap forwards in terms of design, fit and materials in 2014, including the introduction of their abrasion resistant fabric and their partnership with the world's leading armour company, D3O.

The Richa textile jackets collection includes touring, urban commuter and sports jackets. If you're looking for something to go on tour with, or for covering long distances where you'll be subject to varied weather conditions, check out the touring range, such as the Navara jacket. It is a three layer jacket, with removable waterproof and thermal layers, so you can tailor it to your riding conditions. With an 8000mm/8000gr waterproof and breathability rating, you'll stay comfortable in the saddle. If you're more of an urban rider, the Richa Scrambler or Bonneville will be more your cup of tea. These Belstaff inspired jackets look fantastic on and off the bike, you just need to decide whether to opt for the short Scrambler or the longer cut Bonneville, which has won RiDE Best Buy in their textile jacket test.

Then there's the Element jacket, another urban commuter style jacket, but this one features a removable thermal inner lining, so if you ride in the cooler months, this is a great choice. You can even wear the lining as a lightweight jacket, off the bike. If you have a tight budget, check out the Falcon, it's a good looking, protective urban jacket with a removable thermal lining and D3O armour to the back, shoulder and elbows, plus it's waterproof and for below 160 quid, it represents brilliant value for money. All of the Richa jackets range includes D3O armour and abrasion resistant fabric, so you can rest in the knowledge that they'll keep you protected whilst out on the bike.
